Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Mardi Gras King & Queen Coronation Dance on Tuesday, January 28th, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bastrop Convention Center! Doors open at 5:30 PM.
Enjoy live music by The Kitchen Pickers Band, delicious Cajun food, thrilling raffle prizes, and the royal coronation of our King and Queen, who will proudly lead the Mardi Gras Parade on Feb. 1st.
This joyful celebration is hosted by the Bastrop Community Senior Center and the Bastrop Evening Lions Club. Don’t miss this wonderful community event—see you there!

-Anytime you make a purchase (of any amount) at a participating retail business in Downtown Bastrop, you’ll receive a special Downtown Bastrop Bead Bag!
-Hidden among the beads are golden beads – just like Willy Wonka’s golden tickets!
-If you find a golden strand of beads, bring it to the Downtown Bastrop Tent on Main Street (location TBD) to claim your prize!
**PLUS: All golden bead winners will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Downtown Bastrop Gift Card!
